Overview
System Store Solutions recently completed a luxury garage project for a domestic client. Having met on the System Store Solutions stand at The Goodwood Revival Show, Bryan Evans, Sales Manager and luxury garage specialist, worked closely with the client to understand exactly what was required for the job.
Bryan explains, "The client has a collection of prestige cars and was looking for additional security to his triple garage. His existing doors were oak and he was eager that they should not be replaced. In addition, the client was looking to improve his concrete garage flooring with a more durable solution that would be hard-wearing, easy to maintain and improve the overall appearance. Lastly, the client wanted good quality storage for his tools and car cleaning products."
Before commencing any work, the System Store Solutions team conducted a home visit, taking full measurements, confirming requirements and creating a 3D visual of the proposed layout for the client to approve.
The Solution
In order to keep the oak garage doors, three new Hormann Rollmatic garage doors were fitted. These offer additional security whilst fitting in with the overall aesthetic of the home. The doors were planned and fitted to meet the highest certificate of Secured by Design, the official police security initiative, which has the added benefit of reducing insurance premiums.
New Resin MMA flooring was laid throughout the triple bay garage, a total of 52m². The existing oak skirting needed repairing so the team carried this out before refitting once the floor had been completed.
A shelving unit was also installed to give the client additional storage without compromising space.
